Buffet hours: Any two hours from noon to 9.30pm daily
`$48+++ per person gets you a free flow of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, excluding cocktails. There is also a 30 per cent discount on tapas orders. Between 6.30 and 8.30pm, the tapas are complimentary.

`At $58++ per person, guests get a free flow of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.
3)Carlton Hotel
Buffet hours: Any two hours from noon to 9pm daily; valid till Sept 30
`For $48+++ per person, enjoy a free flow of beer, wine and liquor, excluding cocktails. There is also a 30 per cent discount on snack items from the bar menu.
however, a person with a healthy liver should not consume more than seven units of alcohol a week (one unit of alcohol is approximately a can of beer, a glass of wine or a single shot of hard liquor).

i went to swim in the afternoon, and now im burnt.
funny how bright and sunny and scorching hot it was here at toa payoh while ants said it rained over at raffles place! i might go again tmr, i always enjoy swimming alone (:
anyway, yesterday afternoon was crap. all sorts of lousy things happened to me all in one afternoon but the evening made up for the crap day i had because i had dinner with the Tans. great food and company never fail to cheer me up no matter what so im grateful for the lovely evening spent with ants, his bro, sis and dad at sicc. and i finally got to meet his sis after so long, heh.
canvassing on saturday was worse than expected. we were ushers for some international tamil film awards event at the expo, working till midnight and ended up sharing cabs back home. i had to check the ladies' bags and give out door gifts, and stop people from changing seats (haha lucky me, i didnt get caught in the stampede) ask ash or sam they were totally shocked by the massive amount of people suddenly running forward because of the empty seats in front! anyhoo other than a few hall gossips i heard from the seniors, i felt like i totally wasted an evening.
(ken was right, these saturday hours are precious - 'primetime' haha!)

i never missed staying at home so much.
it's gonna be me, my bed, books, and the four walls.
of course, needless to say, with dosages of ansel in between (:
supposed to go minds/settlers tonight but im waay too tired and lazy to move my ass
so im just slacking away at home with books and lappie.
tomorrow, i have the bollywood canvassing thing after piano.
sunday, i have two piano teachings and then veena's 21st which im still abit hesitant to go cos it's all the way at aranda pasir ris. (i'll follow the crowd zale is going)
and i still,
need to meet up with debs, she's back in sg!
need to meet up with van havent seen her since she got on tv for deal or no deal
set a date to celebrate mel's birthday
need to go for sandie's 21st which clashes with senior's camp
need to email subcom members details about seniors camp
need to pack my stuff we'll be renting out the house and staying with aunt's family at sembawang
need to plan my piano schedules (both lessons and teaching) once i confirm my timetable for this semester
need to watch all the shows i borrowed from ants soon (i have one whole stack of dvds untouched)
finish reading the three books i have on my study table (been sitting there for god knows how long)
anyway, yay! i love my tenant, the young and hot french lady (:
and surprise surprise, she can speak chinese!

it has been a looong week.
the gruelling task of waking up as early and ungodly at 615am in the morning really makes me damn sleepy in class. i think even the naps i take everytime i come home from teaching in the afternoon is not of any help at all, in fact i feel even more lethargic in the mornings with those little naps in between (i can really feel that my eyelids are so heavy that it's so so difficult to open my damn eyes). it's embarassing how many times i yawn in class and luckily no one can see cos i sit right at the back of the class, observing everyone.
so im really really thankful that tomorrow comes the last day of bearing to part with my lovely beds and pillows at 615, in fact after tomorrow, i have almost another two weeks to sleep in! shiiiooookkk (:
oh, and i feel so updated about movies now.
i've watched:
1. fantastic four
2. transformers
3. die hard 4.0
and 4. HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX!

i've got to say, those P1s are really damn adorable afterall.
today, during dismissal i saw a flood of pink (pink bags, pink water bottles, pink watches you name it) omg i should have taken a photo of them carrying their belongings! they're generally half my size and their bags are so big and heavy (and pink!) they look even smaller.
and P1 LILY has got the cutest bunch of girls (:
`there's a pair of twins in class, who look every inch like the other (direct copy and paste really!)
`there's a damn cute eurasian girl who can read and pronounce chinese words better than the rest of the chinese girls)
`almost all of them i realised, have their hair tied up in two ponytails, or if they have short hair, they clip their fringe to the side.
`i dont know why but most of the girls try to catch my attention and will attempt to flash their loveliest smile at me every other minute. (i think the ones with dimples won my heart)
`half the girls in class are really tanned and have cute goggle marks! (i like!)
`ive seen the smallest girl! her uniform is like puny and her shoes are ohmygod small like dwarf's (i just feel like carrying her everytime i see her)
`and they dont read their chinese textbook, they sing their text! (tune of 'jesus loves me!') brilliant kids.
on the other hand, the P6 daisy girls asked me how old i was because they said i look very young, and asked if i was the daughter of some teacher! hey but it's ok, i love them so much that i dont mind waking up at 6am tmr to attend their remedial lesson conducted at 6.45am before flag raising ceremony. (i think i must be out of my mind to even agree to that)
im so happy i still see my primary school teachers around in the staff room, and surprisingly, they still recognised me after sooo long! and i think im the first ij girl to go back and become a chinese teacher! school record.
and oh happy belated birthday qianqi! (:

TRANSFORMERS! optimus prime (:
i love the show, and the cinema (cos it's GV yay) and the company.
had ding tai fung for dinner but we were too full after the popcorn and the two cokes (one medium and one super upsize) so we only ordered three dishes, but it was all good. ansel can officially qie chilli with me already! (thumbs-up but hope your stomach doesnt burn after this)
and
happy birthday jieying! enjoyed the bbq party at sembawang park yesterday evening, i liked those sambal sotongs i bbqed, tasted really awesome, and everyone came back for more sotongs. but damn the rain! it only stopped around 9 plus when everyone started leaving. nonetheless, we had fun. (well at least for me, i had fun eating NON-STOP) omg everything seems so addictive because i was hungry like a cow. even my grandmother noticed that! (never mind, ansel said today that i am still a growing child!)
ikea and swedish meatballs here i come!
tomorrow shall be as wonderful.
(if we minus off piano teaching in the evening, minus off rain, minus off the fact that the weekend is coming to an end, and next week i start school experience!)
