okay it was impromptu movie session with sze wei yesterday evening and last minute bbq gathering with cousins tonight. im beginning to like the idea of spontaneity! it perks me up and make life alot more interesting for the week (:
'just my luck' was definitely good (:
now i'll tell you why:
1) McFLY songs are the bomb! we're so in love with them.
2) lindsay lohan is damn pretty please (whatever others say)
3) chris pine is hot. full-stop.
4) the cinema was so empty it was like a home theatre.
5) i like the ending! (: ( i think thats important enough)
see so everything was perfect.
we even had a barang session yesterday at hdb hub.
sembawang park is a really nice place.
tonight's bbq was held there and i thought the restaurant at the top was pretty romantic. i should suggest this place for supper club (:
i think with so many upcoming birthday parties,
it should be another packed weekend.

the best way to cast away your monday blues to mars is to do some RETAIL SHOPPING after work!
THE MANGO SALE IS NOW ON (:
everybody was just jostling their way through the crowd, hoping to grab anything they deem cheap and worth buying that was left hanging on the shelves. i was no exception. seeing everyone feasting their keen eyes on every single piece of clothing inside, i got hyped up and the shopping mood just got into me. i would say this kind of cheap thrill works for me, especially when you see red tags hanging out everywhere. i could see shopper's faces lit. the fitting room turned into a marketplace, bloody chaotic with people bringing their friends along, blocking the big mirror right in the middle of narrow aisles. although i must say the sale brings damn good business, i pity the sales assistants. that is one of the reasons why i think twice before being one. the piles of 'tried-ons' just got higher by the minute with the increasing crowd, and all they need to do is to stand by the exit sign and anticipate the huge amount of clothes dumped out by people. holy macaroni!

supper at 24-7 hongkong cafe was all good yesterday night with al even though i was already dead tired after all the activities i did in the day and with him puffing out cigarette smoke right into my face half the time. plopped straight to bed after a nice shower. signing of documents at moe in the morning had me up as early as 8 am. after which, dad brought us to holland village to have XO fish head for lunch, then headed to the club house at sp to chill. it has really been some time since i went there. did a little bit of swimming, went down into the jacuzzi, played pool with my family at the lounge, and singing at the ktv with a whole jug of beer and snacks with my parents made us quite high. and oh, im finally legal to enter the jackpot room! (: haha but my luck yesterday was really quite shit. i lost 30 bucks in just 15 minutes! wth.
uncle specially went jb again to buy us durians. so all of us gathered at my aunt's place in the evening. so i had beer, nuts and crackers for tea, and durians for dinner, not forgetting a tinge of XO for lunch. all in all, i think i have enough of alcohol for the week.
okay, i gotta go now.
im heading to chinatown in 15 and i havent gotten myself ready.
mom's gonna scream.

visitor's day! (:
surprise surprise, both chris and van came down to the 'land of hope' during lunch today to pay me a visit! and it wasnt pre-arranged. i called chris yesterday night to confirm, and van just happen to be on the way home so she decided to pop by to have lunch with us too. haha the girl! although today's supposed to be a lousy day, (as deb is on leave and supper club cancelled), the good company compensated for it.
i even risked being sacked for having a two hour lunch break just to sit a little while longer. heh the idiots who convinced me that since i forgot to bring my access card today it shall serve as the best excuse. thank god my manager was no where to be seen.
i'll be meeting them tmr again though,
yes i think i should be heading down to the party at DXO.
well even though i dont think im selling tickets anymore, but i'll promote it all the same. last call for tickets anyone?

you get to see interesting people if you come tan tock seng.
today there was this wierd man at the fruit stall who has his hair dyed hot pink. he was carrying a huge pink barbie doll bag and the number of gold bangles he wore almost covered the whole of his arm! even the auntie at the stall was too distracted by the man's gold bangles to even pay attention to what he wants to buy! haha
i think he came to visit PSY. he was so WIERD! my goodness. and because my colleague tried to point him out to us, he knew she was talking about him and he suddenly starting to talk to her. poor cynthia! she totally just freaked out.
wierd people aside,
there are also people from all walks of life at tan tock seng.
1) friendly people who makes your day:
-gives you warm smiles when they walk past you,
-murmur a word of hello or some form of greeting or another,
-includes some of my overly enthusiastic colleagues who waves frantically even though you're at the other end of the corridor.
2) doctors who take away your monday blues:
- dr buvanaswari. she emailed us because she wanted us to get a casenote:
(it vaguely goes this way)
dear debra and angela,
can i get the casenote for kar kiam kharn IC no. S*******D please?
thanks. oh and err try saying kar kiam kharn (3 times really fast), it really is a tongue twister! :) HAHA.
3) sweet fellas who melt your heart:
- dr ashish. he always asks me whether ive eaten my lunch already, and offers his own homemade prata for me!
-dr leslie. he bought us kfc back from novena square for lunch :)
- debra. she never fails to finish up my work for me after 5pm because she knows i wont get paid overtime.
4) high techies.
-dr roland boey. he was saying today that he should invent a cord that connects your phone to the computer so it transfers all phone images into your com just like a digital camera.
-dr chia. he seriously has the latest gadgets in town! from mobile phones to whatever-you-name-it.
5) the most ironic group of people:
-DOCTORS. they eat anything and everything!
from sinful chocolate bars, down to junkies like chips, sweets, love letters, anything you can find lying around in the office, they'll get their hands on it!
OH and if there's such a chance, you should see their rooms man.
a total mess! okay. understatement of the century!
it definitely looks nothing less than the aftermath of a hurricane.

hurray! it's friday again (:
i realised im taking ages to finish full house! it's been two weeks already and ive got another 6 more discs to go. i need to have my vcd marathon again i think. but heh i dont mind because other than the many few disruptions i get from my cranky player, the show is really funny and there's quite a few eye candies inside!
went town today for piano. lesson today was surprisingly good! heh cause i practised damn hard yesterday evening after i came home from work! like two hours straight of pure technical work. czerny became my best friend all of the sudden and i got hooked.
and i actually listened to benjamin britten's pieces. (i never did listen to twentieth century music so it's a rather big accomplishment). well at least i felt i did some homework (:
i think work is really getting on my nerves. especially when deb is on leave for
two consecutive days! hmph. i was so busy that i didnt know what i was doing. and you should look at my desk after lunch! tonnes of stuff piled up-casesheets, papers, documents, mails, and other funny stuff. deb used to complain alot to me about these.
really annoying. anyway i had to make an emergency call to her yesterday afternoon while she was on leave because this particular doctor who already left the department popped by suddenly and told me debra left him something. but i always had no idea what they were talking about. so i rang her up on her mobile while she was in the cinema watching xmen3. i felt so bad seriously but i didnt have a choice.
p.s everybody, please choose ntu.
