after two days of leave and a long weekend, im back to work. orientation from the 26th of july which includes a three day two night camp. i seriously cant see how im suppose to survive that.anyway there's still time to think of better ways to get to boonlay. hopefully by then, travelling wont be a hassle. other than uni admin matters, too many things had happened in between. the hardest of all being unable to understand my own emotions. and sometimes, i think i dont know myself anymore.

the good thing is,
i survived perfectly well this week (:
or at least on my part,
thats how i feel considering there wasnt any more holidays or short weeks to look forward to from now on.so yes it's back to friggin' boring five-day week :(
today however, was also one of the days where the office people ( my colleagues) will go mad on jokes and laugh themselves silly. and i really mean silly.
they would practically roll on the floor and kick their legs. hmm haha okay maybe that's an exaggerated version but i was quite sure the doctors thought we took an excessive dosage of laughing pills after lunch. it all started off innocently enough with the medical report in front of me. amk police division was enquiring about this particular patient's details in ttsh; how he died and stuff and so i was
curious and i asked, so which way is the best way to die? to die without pain, and from a horrible death? and so debra replied saying that she would actually considering jumping off a building. (she thinks it's a fast and neat way to end your life)and i violently disagreed! like how awful please. your brains will get smashed and your body will be way out of distortion. totally disgusting. i would prefer to 'sleep' in a car and just leave the engine on till i peacefully pass away. then it was happily talking till dr chia came along and overheard our
conversation. so he asked us whether we knew the difference between jumping off from the second storey, tenth storey and the twentieth storey. we shook our heads. he began demonstrating with his hands;
he said: 'if a person jumps from the second storey, it'll be ahhhh....confirm plus chop chop wont die!'.
'if a person jumps from the tenth storey, it'll be ahhh... die!..and ahhhh again!!' and if a person jumps from the twentieth floor, it'll would be even more tragic- he'll scream AHHH... AHHHH...(-pants-)... AHHHHH! (-pants-) why so long havent reach yet?!'. and the story ends with: 'dont worry, he'll eventually die because of heart attack.'
RIGHTT. thats dr chia and his lame joke for you.
leaving debra and cynthia collapsing on the floor, and
the whole cycle starts
again.
it isnt the end.
me and debra were so high, we imitated her kids (they lovee ultraman) and pretended we were superheroines, running about in the office like two siao cha bos.
worst thing was, we bumped into dr lim and thought we could have shoot ourselves dead from embarassment on the spot. but guess what, HE JOINED IN (:
and he even introduced us to mrbrown's website. (some apparently really popular-among-doctors website that has a wierd way of discussing political issues)
to cut the story short,
the bottomline is : we dont only have two ultra'men' in the office.
because i swear the doctors in my office can be such kids sometimes(:

BUGGLES, VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR. I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two
Lying awake intent at tuning in on you.
If I was young it didn't stop you coming through.
Oh-a oh
They took the credit for your second symphony.
Rewritten by machine on new technology,
and now I understand the problems you can see.
Oh-a oh
I met your children
Oh-a oh
What did you tell them?
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Pictures came and broke your heart.
Oh-a-a-a oh
And now we meet in an abandoned studio.
We hear the playback and it seems so long ago.
And you remember the jingles used to go.
Oh-a oh
You were the first one.
Oh-a oh
You were the last one.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
In my mind and in my car,
we can't rewind we've gone too far
Oh-a-aho oh,
Oh-a-aho oh
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
In my mind and in my car,
we can't rewind we've gone too far.
Pictures came and broke your heart,
put the blame on VCR.
You are a radio star.
You are a radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
Video killed the radio star.
(You are a radio star.)

'Ours is essentially a tragic age, so we refuse to take it tragically. The cataclysm has happened, we are among the ruins, we start to build up new little habitats, to have new little hopes. It is rather hard work: there is now no smooth road into the future: but we go round, or scramble over the obstacles. We've got to live, no matter how many skies have fallen.'
D.H Lawrence; lady chatterley's lover.
YES, SCRAMBLE OVER THOSE OBSTABLES AND LIVE ANGELA.

i didnt expect myself to actually head down to
DXO yesterday night for the illusion party.
but beat could get tickets for fifteen and they
wanted to celebrate my belated bday too after
dinner at glutton bay and so it was hastily decided
after nine. but it was a good party i supposed. the no.
of turnouts were about an amazing eight hundred people,
and saw quite a no. of familiar faces! seeing the army guys
in the club reminds me of cj/ac days :) now i know why
guys like to club when they book out. it seems as though
clubbing makes them whole again. haha like they get
to see girls, drink, listen to the music, and enjoy life
as a civillian. and i totally understand now. i think if i am
to be enlisted i would like to spend my weekends this way
too instead of stoning at home and wait dreadfully for sunday
evenings to come by. one friend of mine told me that they
got so used to this 5 hours of sleep routine that they cant
get back to sleep when they reach home. he said he'd rather
come out to club and chill than lying wide awake at night
in bed. see now you get the point.
the night was fun indeeed especially when you get
to catch up with so many friends you thought youve
completely lost touch with. marklim's going melbourne in
july and he got the same grades as me! and i realised im not
the only desperate one waiting to get a letters from universities!
yes thats a nice consolation at least.
got home at 4.12 reeking of smoke
which is eeyeerrr. but what irks me more is
this stranger guy who puked right behind me while
i was on the dancefloor with mal and per! and ive
got some of his puke on my leg although it was
quite a distance! hell gross. to top it all, i witness
the most unglam incident that can ever happen to a girl.
i dont wanna talk about it here really.
girls always have more to lose in a club and i
think it unfair.
