life's been good this week (:
dr leslie treated the doctors and the
rest of us to buffet at vienna restaurant at
united square yesterday cause of the success of
mbbs examinations for the medical students.
the cocktails in the funny testtubes turned out
to be nonalcoholic. they were just plain fruit
juices. cheaters haha but there were two that
were alcoholic but deb said they tasted like cough
syrup. the fondue was nice though. tried it with
grapes and pineapples and honeydews and marshmallows!
all for calling up ONE patient up to deserve
heavenly food! haha.
i went grocery shopping just now
after work. was fun buying some of my fav
food in the supermarket. dried cranberries,
strawberry yoghurt, chew cereal bars, chocolate milk,
coco krunch, etc (:
bottomline is: I LOVE GROCERY SHOPPING.

3 pieces of good news to share:- i had free sushi lunch from some drug company
this afternoon and i swear it tasted damnnn good (:
i will have more to come this week, and hopefully
its not gonna turn out to be some cheapo
packet lunches.
- bought a tchaikovsky cd for only 11.90!
i thought it was sucha great buy. and no, it's
not pirated cd! plus it plays more than 140 minutes
of classical symphonic music.
- i was soo happy today after realising that my
scv show (some drama series that was on 56 eons ago;
think it was two years back) is now showing again
on ch u! i think i didnt catch the last few episodes
the other time and i was so infuriated that i kept
missing it. a second chance (:
now apart from these good news,
i have 3 other bad news to share.
-it's sucha shame that i didnt get to meet
up with chelsa this evening. perhaps another
day love? :(
- i promised myself not to get addicted to
da changjin. but holyshit. i failed terribly.
i fell into the trap of my parents and i have
to admit the show gets really good after
sitting down and actually watching it instead
of switching over during commercial breaks
in my room while watching ch5.
- i think i put on weight tremendously.
like no exercise and uncontrolled eating habits
is really no joke and i swear i feel like a 'white lump
of flesh' now. this is the cost of lack of discipline.
parental advisory. please do not learn from me.

5:19:00 PM
crossed the road, went mal's house to do
the online application. blame my stupid printer for
not working (: this is so troublesome.
thank her dad for helping me pay using
his visa card first. i find the atm thing
is too much of a hassle. i didnt know
mal's sister watches formula-1 but it
looks rather interesting and the hot host
is certainly a plus factor ignoring the fact that
he didnt get much attention in the show by
any of them. hurr
i stayed up to two am to do a photo collage
of baby king and i, and it turned out good
i must say. even mom was impressed
by the effort and all (:
wo thumbs-ups and doublebeams for now.

okay this is bad. i have no idea what to
take in university! i was considering taking
english literature in NUS but my career
prospective will be damn narrow.
probably the highest paying job
is being a uni lecturer after obtaining
phd. went to check out the course outline
and it looks rather interesting as they've
got the different centuries studies plus a wide
range of authors internationally. the only
deterrent is that im afraid my lit is not as strong
as the rest. and that i'll give up halfway or something :/
but come to think of it, there's nothing much
else left in FASS considering that is the only
faculty im interested in or qualified rather.
psychology is too competitive.
sociology i might take as a minor.
econs is out of the question.
chinese was one of the options but not anymore.
asian studies a no no. i hate asian history.
political science is too gp.
anywway, im sick of thinking about these
stuff lately. yesterday's midnight
rooftop talk was good with tpkids
though, discussing possible paths
and routes for our bright future ahead. apart
from the unlucky evening from attempting to try
out exotic supper places and getting lost in dunlop street,
i think friday supper club keeps my adrenaline high
after a week's mundane routine.

cleo is a nice read ive decided!
there's pictures of how uni people dresses
in this issue. not bad at all actually we can
be clad in shorts and slippers. maybe even
fbts if im lazy hehhhhh.
open house marathon last sat, the 11th.
almost died rushing to the three
universities on a SINGLE day.
took 105 to meet shaun and coincidentally
joel and liangwen took the same 151 on the
way to nus. we were so cute we wanted to
take a bus to the business school side to take
a look when the open house is just
walking distance from the busstop
we alighted. we didnt even realise
everyone was walking towards that way
until a parent came along and told her kid:
" why should we care where all the different
faculties are in the campus? let's walk to the
main open house."
zzz.
ohwell.
the exhibition hall was teeming with crowd
and we had to walk one whole big round just
to get out in an orderly manner. wth
the people in the cca lot just kept asking
me if i was joining the school this year. rather
annoying actually. looks more like a funfair
i realised. nothing muchh.
ntu was our next stop. four of us cabbed
down. it was freaking ulufied and we didnt
even know where was the open house.
the cabdriver just kept travelling round the
campus looking for signs. in the end joel
found a suspicious looking sign that read
THE QUAD or whatever that is and it turned
out to be the one. i still cant see how visitors
can figure that out. saw nigel and jiawan at the
hss booth. jeremy popped up to say hi.
posterboy explained how english literature
is more interesting in ntu than nus especially
with mr murphy around. met jacq and joanna
too. there were, overall more professional looking
booths around compared to nus seriously.
a little too professional i find.
went for hss talk at lect hall 2.
wanted to leave after 15 mins but
shaun wanted to listen to the psy and soc talk
so we stayed on till about 4pm.
last stop to smu.
figured that the train ride is more
worth than hailing a cab down. was already
near 6 when we reached the campus.
one word- damn gorgeous. too gorgeous to be
a school. we were all so fickle that everytime we
visit a different uni, we would want to go to that
particular school. arhhhh tough decision.
smu is drop dead gorgeous can.
they even have a cable at the side of every
single seat
