supper in geylang(:
the tp kids went hunting for
good supper spots yesterday night.
if only we had a real car and somebody
who can drive us around! *%^&*(/
we had to ask our friend's dad
for directions and address for the supposed
famous taiwan eatery place in geylang.
haha all thanks to mal for the wonderful
recommendation! (: i thought the beef
horfun was damn gooood. and oh the soyabean
and beancurd is nicee too. a little too much
oil in the rest i must say haha! but overall
we had a freakinggood time and we promised
to put aside fridays for supper days! hurrayy.
something to look forward to now...
marche later at six oclock.
and sentosa tmr! :) beach volley plus
sun sand and sea. nice bronze tan heree we come!

oh today's such an accident-prone
day! :( first i kicked my little toe
against the edge of debra's office desk.
next i almost tripped and stumbled
while on the way to Dr Lee's room.
lastly, i dropped a huge heavy pile of
casesheets on my left foot! urghh.
but they say it's always gonna be a
beautiful day after a bad day.
heh at least thats what i hope.

i was looking forward to funorama'06! (:
met al and gabs at amk station
took 74 down to school. it was such a looong
and boring journey with no entertaining
tv mobile! saw the bballers on the way down
and met qianqi and ben who looks so much
like ronald wong! omgg. haha so much for
resemblance man. anyway i spend almost
all my tickets on food and food alone. i didnt
play any game and it started pouring near late
afternoon. hid in the void deck with kl and xy and
i realised there were kenny rogers! haah but i wasnt
exactly in a mood for kennyrogers though :(
christina and gang finally came and i went walking around
again! (i think i walked around the school more than 30 times)
and the crowd was even more terrible when it rained.
urgghh freaking squeezy and dirty and crowded and humid.
BUT i had to admit it was fun la.
bbq at kevin's place. qilin's surprise
birthday party was quite a success considering
she didnt come to know about it. heh i have to emphasis
I WAS HER BIGGEST SURPRISE though :D -beams-
she didnt least expect me to turn up for
sucha event and i must proudly announce that
i did. haa this is the first time i turned up for
a band thing considering that it was so damn far
from my place! harbour front pleaseee.
hehh sitting in the middle of the bridge is soo fun
and kevin's place is such a heaven to be in.
there's a river under the bridge that leads
to the open sea and the ambience is just so
damn romantic. i heard it was close to a million though
and he's only staying there for a short period of time
while his other house is under renovation. wanted
to go for midnight movie with mel and taufiq but
tau was sickk so he needed to go home to rest.
so the three of us cabbed home in the end.
heh my place first of course.

extremely traumatic experience in the morning!
f* you.
other than that, valentine's day was ahemokay.
i went to work at 10am instead of the usual 12pm
because i needed to collect the stalks of hearts
from the florist at tantockseng. not a lot
of the doctors were in the office so i could only
gave a few away. most doctors were really touched
and all and debs said it was the first time they
ever gave the doctors anything for valentine's.
anyway the gifts were my idea in the first place
and im so proud that i manage to pull the majority
votes over in chipping money to buy those stalks! :)
free lunch today at laobejing (novena square)
dr teong gave us four a treat. my auntie's son,
my little cousin also got to enjoy the free treat!
hehh because my aunt had to fetch him from
the childcare downstairs. the total bill added up to
178 dollars! wth we only had a few dishes but was
damn filling. but the ambience was nice and i realised almost
all the people dining there were mostly tantockseng
staff! i think tantockseng staff are rich really.
all except me but haha never mind i got a free
lunch anyway :)

the doctors! gonna be a nice nice surprise
for everyone i guess. hmm
i hope i get a nice treat of icecream

some NUS teaching for dr leslie pinheiro
these two days, finally giving it a nice
finish this afternoon.btw he's a consultant
in our general med. office and he's a damn
nice person. full of praises for anyone.
just that day he said "great job angela"
and today he told me that the slides were
"brilliant". hearing those words, i simply
beamed (: it's fun working for him than other
doctors i find, though they often murmur a word
of thanks out of courtesy.
laughing gaschew wah my operations manager was
asking debra to smell her because she put
on a new deoderant today to work. she said
was some citrus fruits fragrant and deb after
smelling was like:
"it smells like white musk from body shop"
and then chew wah looked at deb for awhile,
confused and gave sudden outburst of laughter:
"oh yah! i think i put on white musk today!"

i have just finish reading 'ETIQUETTE FOR WOMEN' (:
it's a book about modern manners and
customs but i realised they are rather
victorian based. still, i enjoyed and
savoured every word of the book!
i loveee victorian kinda style and it
makes me feel happy, dont ask me why.
hehh silly me.
now im on another novel.
THE COBWEB CAGE and i tell
you it's really tragic.
tragic setting, tragic details and tragic
characters. although i would prefer a book
where it has a happy ending, or rather characters
that are less pitiable, or details that arent so
painful to read on, this is something emotional that
i havent really touch on for some time since
war literature in school. these emo shit are
getting me hooked on and i kept my noses
dug between the pages wherever i go.
sighh i just hope i dont bang into the wall
or bump into people thats all.
