an overdosage of kbox and swensens is taking
over me. i visited these two places more
than 3 times in a week already and
im going again later. but it's quite a nice
mixture of combination actually.
and trust me these are the two that
keeps you entertained during cny.
no other shops would because they
are closed. yesss.

the blinking heart

cny celebrations! (: one of my loves.
the joyous occasion started yesterday
night with the last minute goodie shopping,
swimming in the hot afternoon sun,
watching the celebration on tv,
talking on the phone till 1am
and enjoying the day before
lunar new year. everything seems to
fall in place nicely and that heartwarming
family gathering is truly undescribable to any.

i received two big red packets from
dad and mom this morning before we
set went to grandma's house!
my favourite session began. haha
then it was potluck and familiar smiley
faces in the house. mom cooked
braised pork which i thought was
the best dish apart from grandma's
home-made chilli. that was devilish spicy
hot and anyone who has seen me consume
chilli would have notice my high tolerance
of spicyness in taste. and this time i mean
HOT. i needed beverages badly.

after which junhan deyang me and weide
started the game of daideee. zzz what's new
when it comes to poker cards. deyang
wanted to play 'asshole' which was to
continue playing daidee after a person has
won and the loser (the person who finishes all
his cards last) has to trade in his highest
and lowest value cards in exchange for any
two of the winner's cards. those retards!
i lost a couple of rounds. *&^%%$
and in the end ive got damn damn lousy
cards (without any picture cards and nothing
more than a 10 spade!) and of course with
such cards, i became the loser of the next round
again! wth right. it's just damn hard to break the cycle
la unless you're a real pro. so only after 5 consecutive rounds
i managed to break free. 'asshole game' indeed.

teacher MISS HII and
now im on cloud nine! :)

my first mvmt of that mozart
sonata is my lovee. i can tellya
i practised damn hard for it!
took it out part by part and played
it through patiently. damn tedious
work though and i actually have to
master listening to the different parts
in the alto tenor and bass parts respectively
especially for the schumann one!

friday the 13th :(

i dont believe in this but truly,
it's not a very good day to start with
considering that only half of this
'unlucky day' had passed.
so far,

1. i woke up at 7am and i was still late to meet
chews at tp interchange for breakfast.

2. i could have gotten a cheaper macs
bfast meal if ive told the aunt that i was
still a student (which isnt exactly a lie)

3. chews and i were very late in meeting
denise in yiochukang in the end and
to make matters worse, we took the
train that went the other side (marinabay)
instead of jurongeast. and c'on this is my
territory pleasee.

4. we nearly took the wrong train again on our
way back. (stood at the jurongeast platform
when we're supposed to take the marinabay
side back) :(

5. i found out that alevel results are coming out
on the 17 of feb. which is bad bad bad!

if this isnt bad enough, here's more:

6. im still very bloated with my macs bfast.
i think i need lunch no more.

7. my aunt just called and told me that
we need to squeeze into her car with
6 others not including my mom and myself.
frankly speaking we're not that skinny you know.

8. my mom just showed me my white
abercrombie top and it just got tainted with a
disgusting pink colour that comes from washing
it with my new mango top together in the washing
machine. ( the suay thing is that even the washing
machine is opposing me; it chose to give the pink
dye to my nice white top instead of my pyjamas
even though they were in the same batch for washing!)

urrggghh.
now how good can the rest of my day go.

caught elizabethtown yesterday at lido.
walked shopped walked shopped.
did some pre-cny shopping and
met hy at poloralphlauren.
heh i was supposed to pretend
to look at the clothes and not
make conversations with her but
i think her colleagues sort of knew
we werent talking about ralph clothes :)

yihong and i walked to fareastplaza to
look for taixiaofang! she's working at #03-50
and we thought it was the shop beside
#o3-51. 'the little princess' shop did make
us laugh hard. we were like ' omg xiaoo's working
here?!!' then we realised actually #03-50 is
another two shops away. haha wierd mann or else
i swear we would have died laughing on the spot
to see xiao working inside 'little princess'.
she was selling clothes at the bazaar so we went
down again after the movie. xiaoo wanted
yh and i to buy tops from her racks but
they werent my style haha poor xiao!
xiao wanted yh to get for his mom! hilariousshitreally.
felt rather bad not supporting my little friend
though :(

met jess, rach and darius at guess later.
jess looks hot! dinner at billybombers at
heeren. the betty's quarter chicken sucked
so bad but the ceasar salad was nice.
luckily we didnt order much. it was
just filling, i think i would have puked if
we ordered two main courses.

ch56. at 8 there is just for gags on 5
and that funny love match thing
on ch 8! 8.30 fear factor, and
im more interested in that eating
challenge than anything else
though ive to admit, it feels
sick watching all that after a
full dinner (disgustingly gross is
an understatement). 9pm goes my
love consceige. i think fiona xie looks
good in her red specs and i like her
hair alott! damn gorgeous though
she is a real nerd inside the show. i dont know
how she can look so good with a hair band
cause i can never ever wear a hairband
that nicely on mine. i mean seriously, i think
i look really awful with a hairband from frontview.
but my friends say i look damn IJ when i wear
one on my head. haha wierd.
anyway im digressing so back to the wonderful
wednesday night tv shows, at 10 there's BRAINIAC
which i swear it's damn entertaining cos
they really go to the extreme to find
out wierd stuff like 'who will survive on the north
pole longer? fat or skinny guy?' and ' which drink
travels through your body the fastest?' and all.
it really tickles me when i watch it and im glad
after all that junk and reality progs, this is something
funny yet knowledgeable so i dont feel guilty after
watching all those junkshits. heh oh and 10.30, there's
new season of america's next top model! one of my
alltimefavs. this time round i like kayla. i think she has
got the liv tyler look after the makeover yesterday.
that jet black glossy hair and dazzling eyes enough
to stun any homeviewer! then lastly at 11.30, finally
'the simple life(interns)' are back! paris and nicole
are just sucha pair:) and not forgetting tinkerbell
and foxy, their lovely pets!

see! all these shows on wednesday nights
really make me go bonkers.
but heh at least they help 'unwind,relax and enjoy'
(the new ch 5 tagline) at the end of the day.

well, coming back, gonna start work soon at 1.
-groans-. and im not coming home straight
after work in the evening. going aunt's
place for dinner cause the maid is leaving
this sat! :( i'll miss her terribly after 4 long
years. i should be sending her off in the
early morning and i promise i'll make a point
to get up earlier than usual!
