midnight escapade
an article i read from newsweek:

yes it's that simple :) although i am not
a cafeine addict, i am happy for those

crashed cj today. called shijue up late last
night to arrange how to get the uni.

us the cj uni! :) me and germaine
appreciated it. the concert was rather,
sadly to say, crappy and half the time
i couldnt see what was on stage.
i could only remember somebody
singing tonghua and playing the piano.
which i thought was rather brave of him.
haha i applauded for his effort.
oh ya, and mrs tai kept walking about within
the extension area and i was trying
hard to avoid her glance.
she will sure recognise me if she
sees me around! she'll never forget
the times when i went over to her
house for xiao's parties and stuff. heh
well, for those who doesnt know,
her eldest daughter and i were
best of friends in primary school.
and she knows my mom too.
but luckily after a while she went away.
phew what a close shave!
mr wong didnt say anything though
he just merely got a shock when he
saw me! damn funny expression on his face!
other than that, we got released at
9.10 am! so i went to change back to
home clothes and visited ij which was
only two bus stops away! i tell
you xinying is so funny! never fails
to tickle me you know.. she's good at
making people laugh i swear. heh
anyway saw mrs alex and we gossiped
abit (top secret aye) and met mr ng
later. took a couple of photos together
and then headed to town.
had korean noodles for lunch at
scotts foodcourt. i found out that
two of my friends (one of which is my
close friend) are now smokers.
but they're not chain smokers or
anything. just to destress i guess.
i agree with gen that they are many
other ways to de-stress. but ohwells.
anyway i found some new movies coming up!

nothing much happen today.
you can say it's one of those
real boring days at home.
well, i watched my twins effect vcd
for the third time but i still think
it's quite nice though :) hmm.
this is what you do when you get bored.
limited choices...
anyway i still dont know if i wanna crash
cj tmr. they're having teacher's day celebrations
and i think it should be quite fun.
but i have piano in the afternoon.
and chelsa wants to visit ij.
actually i have a honours night briefing
tmr afternoon in school but the distance
is sucha deterrent and i dont feel like
going at all. maybe i should just pon it.
if i am going to cj tmr, i guess i'd
need a proper uniform. ive only
got cj's full pe attire with me.
but shit i cant seem to find the college
shirt and my shorts seems to have
gone missing in action too.
oh sighh. i shall call szewei or kusal
to see whether they want to crash first.
i realise crashing is not as simple anymore.
it's rather troublesome nowadays!

jalan jalan day today!

marianne, vincent, quencer,
baby king*, his parents and bro,
mom, aunt sally, xiang and ah po.
then i went kallang to eat taiwan porridge
with them :) yum yum.
before that me and marianne had a
lovely time at the river side, enjoying
the really beautiful sunset and snapping pictures!
i swear we stood there for the whole 45 minutes
just taking photos! and we took loads of them..
cos the scenery was too beautiful to look at! :)
king's mom asked us to pick a few pebbles for
the boy before we return so we were
carefully choosing some greyish round-like
pebbles near the cruise kiosk at the
riverside. the guard was there but he didnt care.
haha went to the bridge linking the plaza
outside outdoor stadium (a restaurant called JUMBO)
and the condominiums across the kallang river.
yeps it was a refreshing walk with ipod spinning
frankie j's and baby bash's songs.
it felt so gooood.

great great great cousin-in-law!
you're like a dear sister to me and i am
really grateful for all you've done all these
years, the frequent shopping trips down
orchard road, the expensive free treats
everytime (baker's inn and swensens)
the long and wonderful talks we have,
all the sweet birthday cards you've never
failed to send me, the beautiful presents,
the endless encouragements,
my pretty shopping partner!
secondly, the friend that i can lean on,
and you, always being the patient
listener that you are,
the jokes we share, the laughs we had,

eternal bliss
PEEKABOO! it's mr. rascalboy :)
me and mom slept at nearly
3 a.m yesterday watching stairway to heaven
vcd that we just bought in the evening.
continued today from 2pm to 6pm just now.
omg i feel as if my eyes are going to pop
out soon. excessive dosage of television is bad
i know, but the bloody show is too addictive!
especially when they show the trailers of the
next disc. we will be "goshh so excitiing!"
then out of pure reflex action, we'll start
viewing the next disc! arrrhhh this is sooo
bad i tell you. now my head is bombarded with
the images of the characters and the theme songs..
mom is even worse than me. she's the real addict
i must say, because she goes very high and
emotional during the sappy parts, and she
brought out a bottle of cranberry juice/wine
from the fridge and then took out a glass wine
cup during disc breaks. the funny thing is there
was this part where they were drinking wine
in the show you see, so she thought of imitating
them! damn funny right! ive got the craziest
but cutest mom in the whole wide world :)
thinking what to eat for dinner.
hmm i have no idea actually.
not really hungry anyway. but
i think i need to eat in order to carry
on tonight's vcd marathon again!
at least 3 oclock again...
well, it's okay now, because
I HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD :)

the ride to paradise
i didnt have to go to school today
and dont have to for the next two weeks! :)
slept at eleventhirty yesterday
and woke up at eleven.
called my grandmother to talk
on the phone the first thing in the morning
afternoon.(i was in bed doing that). haha
i felt really happy after that.
baby king went schooling already and so
there's only my grandma and the maid at home.
no chance to talk to that mr. rascalboy.
some busy boy he is. hmrrpphh.
i suddenly feel like hearing him sing! :)
tralalaaaa~ it's damn funny.
you should hear it.
going library to borrow some books to read later!
havent touch novels for damnn longg and
i feel like starting on one these few days!
am damn free nowadays anyway.
maybe i'll try pride and prejudice
although it looks damn dull.. well.
life after exams is still the ultimae best i swear!
-stretches- i feel uber relaxed.
it's been eons since i last feel this relax.
if only there is a mini getaway
from this suffocating citylife!
that'll be simplyheaven :)
i want to go somewhere where
there's a pristine beach and watch sunrise and sunset.
somebody provide me with the cash $$ please,
and i swear i'll take off to my dream destination
straightaway! too bad mom just hit me with a realitystick.

went to jack's place for lunch today!
student set was only 6.50 but today's menu didnt have
my grilled chicken! :( so i ordered my executive lunch set instead.
had NZ sirlion steak which was equally awesome!
i love the long beans too.
it reminded me somehow of the buttered corn
they sell in pasar malam which i totally crave :)
i just found out i love drinking tea.
esp earl grey. i dont know why but i like it alot.
infact, in short,
the bottomline is LIFE AFTER PRELIMS

i think ac's prelims maths paper will become the joke of the year.
paper two today sucks even more!
i thought i could do better than paper one because
at least hmm i did most of my tutorials before lessons and
all but well i am so wrong! :(
i couldnt even even do one full single question on
pure mathematics, nor could i do the statistics part.
-pulls hair- urgh. this is seriously getting annoying.
i have decided that maths is sucha deterrent really.
no use studying and memorising formulas before exams
cos they're of no use at all.
and i mean no use at all. trust me.
i should have spent my entire yesterday studying for geog la.
i think i am so going to get a single digit for today's paper out
of 100. yeahh.
but it's okayy!
i am not the only one! i bet only the SA combi people
who takes further maths can do the paper!
even the science people found the paper difficult.
i think ac has got sadistic maths teachers.
i mean it's ridiculous really to turn even easy topics into
really a thousand times more complex and complicated than
it's original form. even hard papers let students at least obtain a
few marks here and there but no, ac doesnt sadly to say.
you know the funny thing is that i actually finished attempting the
paper like 45 minutes after the paper began although the total duration
was 3 hours! the reason for this was that i skipped every single question till
i realised ive come to the end of the paper itself.
so i felt so demoralised after that and i decided to go to the washroom.
and i was glad i did because i needed some fresh air ( the badminton hall
was freezing cold even with my sweater on!i even had to use my hood!)
and at the same time i found out i wasnt the only ones having difficulties.
this was the first time i had so much free time during a college exam.
while returning to my seat after that, i found that most people were
just thinking and not busy scribbling down stuff.
(i thought hey there's a good sign cos maybe they're stuck on a
question like me!) then i saw sabrin lying on her desk sleeping,
chelsa, with her hands cupped below her chin and sighing at me.
diana raised her eyebrows and pouted, alex was stuck but from his looks
was determined to solve the question he was doing, and mich was grinning
away at me, giving me the "haha i am so going to fail" look on her face.
haha. seeing those faces, i couldnt help but heave a sigh of relief.
finally i endured through the 3 hour paper! i was soo proud of myself.
but that felf like 3 years. i kept glancing at the clock every five minutes.
when the teacher announced "time's up, pen's down!"
i was sooo elated even though i knew i was going to fail.

it doesnt help at all to fall sick during prelims.
i had a high fever of 38.2 in the afternoon,
cough, flu and my voice totally gone.
and since all the clinics closes at noon on sat,
my mom had to bring me down to mt alvernia
to seek medical consultation.
had a jab! :)
i love jabs! especially on my arms.
i hate it when they do it on my butt though..
haha. call me a sadist.
but hmm now the drug is taking its effects and im
definitely getting much better! but it took like 5 hrs?
before my fever was still at the constant measurement of
high 30s. i wasted two precious days to study for geog! :(
but i am really touched!
most of my friends either called me up or msged me
to ask if i was getting better. thanks alot those who gave me
encouragement and asked me to rest more and just put prelims
aside first. a million and one thankyewws :)

6 hours of writing yesterday and ive got sick.
was aching all over from all the sitting :(
i had a fever when i went home and my right eye kept
twitching non-stop. so irritating!
i slept at 2 the day before and woke up at 5.45.
never am i gonna try a 4 hours sleep before exams again.
especially when there's two papers to sit for.
geog in the morning was demanding.
i had to do 5 drqs and 2 essays in 3 hours.
by the time i finish i almost died.
then came the another disaster paper.
i didnt touch my antony and cleopatra at all.
to top it off, i didnt even know what happened in the end.
and for othello i didnt remember any quotes.
i only revise return of the native..
well you can imagine, how little i could write.
after1 and a half hours i already couldnt take it.
i can feel myself getting sick.i felt nauseous.
so i raised up my hand and asked if i could go out
to drink a little water from the sports complex's water
cooler system. luckily it helped abit.
but when i went back, i really couldnt concentrate already.
my eye still stubbornly kept twitchin. i really wanted to
just go home. but pals encouraged me earlier on.

i think if not for yall i wouldnt have completed the paper.
seriously, geog and lit on a single day can make you go mad.
after i came home i couldnt do anything.
i took a bath and slept for an hr.
felt sooo weak, that i couldnt even stand properly.
urrghhh. worst day i ever experienced!

omg. how in the world can a blind man become a superstar?
kelly got in. now i hope kelly will be the ultimate winner at the indoor
stadium. and ooohhh stairway to heaven is damnnn touching.

gp yesterday was about nature vs nurture.
hurr. what luck seriously.
i knew that was so gonna come out for passage.
i just got this gut feeling and i planned to watch
the channelnewasia new documentary about it on sunday night
until it completely and conveniently slipped off my mind
when i went out for dinner. BIG SIGHHH.
maths was an even bigger DISASTER.
yes! IT SPELT D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R all over the paper! :(
i wanted to at least pass it but it all seems so impossible now!
out of 16 questions, i only knew how to do like 1 entire full question.
call me stupid or dumb.
the rest of it were crap. ap gp was some alien ratio thingyy,
which i couldnt find the common ratio. (somebody said you have
to gp first then sub into an ap equation) ?!!!!!????

LIKE WHAT? i thought i could secure this topic but look what happens.

just woke up.
national day is officially over! have to wait till next year already!
well that day was my last national day celebrations in school!
had a memorable time playing in the band and
having fun whacking the instruments :)

changed my mind.
didnt turn up at newsroom bar in the end.
well wanted to really sit down and study but i guess im
really unproductive! big sigh.
it's just merely a week away from the prelims and i am
still here slacking and blogging..
what is wrong with me seriously...
but surprisingly, i am not scared nor am i panicking for my exams
the thought of having to complete the whole stack of notes i have left with
doesnt seem to bother me at all.
it is just strange.
think i am going out for lunch with mom now
i might start on work later,
but again, i do not know.
who knows i might end up watching the whole day
of tv again?
